Like Mother Like Daughter

When I ever saw Olivia wearing her daddy's hat I instantly remember a picture of me when I was little. Check it out.

Super Bowl Sunday

We spent Superbowl Sunday with Willis, Megan, and Logan. It was just the 6 of us so we made some pizzas and had some snacks. The guys had fun! The kids had fun, and the girls had fun ,despite the fact we could have cared less about the game. It is always fun just to hang out with them and play with the kids.
You will see in a couple of photos that I caught Olivia enjoying a little onion dip. I couldn't have captured her at a better moment. Also one of my favorites is Olivia kissing Logan. Watch out Logan for that onion breath!!!!So innocent(not what her father thinks) but so cute. I could watch the 2 of them for hours. Thanks guys for a great night!

Big Girl Bed

Olivia is turning 2 in March and we decided to move her from crib to bed. The reality is that she learned how to climb out of her crib and instead of us taking the chance of her breaking her arm,we decided to make the change.
The first night went great, but now it has been a week and maybe it wasn't such a good idea. I don't know how long it is going to take to get her to actually stay in her bed. Once she is sleeping it goes pretty well until around 4am when you feel these 2 little eyes glaring at you and the presence of this 3 ft shadow hovering over you waiting for you to open your eyes. One night we actually found her reading by her night light in the hallway around 2am.
So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to offer them. We are some of the lucky parents. Olivia has been sleeping through the night since she was 8 weeks old. How could our little princess be turning into this night owl? We will have to wait it out and see what happens. We will keep you updated.
