First Haircut

For the last 3 years my mom has been just trimming Olivia's hair. I have really been trying to grow it long but its taking FOREVER. Its sooooo curly that the curls just bounce back up making it look short again. The rest of it was getting a little unruly so I decided to take her to a professional. We went to see Cindy(my hair stylist) because she is so used to my curls. She thinned it out in hopes that it will start growing down instead of out. Cindy did admit that she knew Olivia's hair was curly but not THAT curly.

Olivia and I had the pleasure of babysitting Tyler Sat night for an hour. He was so good and Olivia loved playing with him.

Church on Palm Sunday

Today was going to be special. Church and then an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. It didn't quite turn out that way. Mass was fine. Olivia and Logan walked in a parade down the aisle(didn't have my camera) with a balloon and a palm. Actually both of them did very well. They walked hand in hand with a packed church watching and went up to the alter to sit with all the kids. So Cute!!! After mass all the kids were to meet out front to collect eggs filled with candy. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had talked up this big event to Olivia all morning and it turned out to be a dud. The big kids got to them much faster and didn't look back. Logan and Olivia's little legs couldn't keep up. Olivia found one sorry egg that was already opened and the candy was on the ground. Lucky for us Willis managed to find in his pocket 2 Hershey kisses that the kids seemed satisfied with. It made me take notice that its the little things that put smiles on their faces. I think I was more upset than the kids. Their little faces are just so precious and I try to enjoy every moment because they get so big so fast. Good thing we still have Easter Sunday for another round of "egg hunting".

Happy St.Patty's Day

BIG NEWS!!!!!!!

Back in January- James and I found out that we are expecting another baby in September. We are very excited and can't wait for Olivia to be a big sister. My actual due date is September 19th which is awesome because its my favorite time of year. Its amazing to be adding to our family and can't wait to find out who will be completing our family circle.

Poor Mom

Last week my poor mom fell and broke her ankle in 3 places. She had to have emergency surgery at Midstate Medical Center and is now in rehab at the same home as my grandfather. I don't think she finds it funny but we do. Did you ever read the bumper sticker?-"Be nice to your children because they choose your nursing home"- I keep telling her that. She is doing better and we hope she makes a speedy recovery. We love you mom!!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Olivia

Olivia's birthday party was at Whippersnappers this year. She and all her friends had a wonderful time. I can't believe my baby is 3 already. Today is her real birthday and unfortunately she is sharing it with the stomach bug. I am glad she was well for her party. We were going to let her pick out her very own bike tonight but will have to wait for another day. All I know is that its going to be PURPLE per Olivia. Pictures to come.
