Olivia is turning 2 in March and we decided to move her from crib to bed. The reality is that she learned how to climb out of her crib and instead of us taking the chance of her breaking her arm,we decided to make the change.
The first night went great, but now it has been a week and maybe it wasn't such a good idea. I don't know how long it is going to take to get her to actually stay in her bed. Once she is sleeping it goes pretty well until around 4am when you feel these 2 little eyes glaring at you and the presence of this 3 ft shadow hovering over you waiting for you to open your eyes. One night we actually found her reading by her night light in the hallway around 2am.
So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to offer them. We are some of the lucky parents. Olivia has been sleeping through the night since she was 8 weeks old. How could our little princess be turning into this night owl? We will have to wait it out and see what happens. We will keep you updated.

Not much you can do. Logan still gets out of his bed, although it is mostly before he falls asleep. Once he is asleep, he usually stays in until morning. For a while, he was climbing into bed with us in the middle of the night. (Lexi wasn't allowed to stay when she was little, but Connie freely admits she is spoiling Logan!) Anyway, one night we found him sitting out on the couch staring at the TV (which was off.) It was a phase that wore out. You just have to tough it out.
